Anna Mae Lane, 86, Halifax, passed away Dec. 31, 2012, in the Victoria General Hospital.
Born in Glace Bay, she was a daughter of the late Archibald and Maggie (Gillis) Currie.
She will be sadly missed by sons, Robert, Alec, Michael, John (Gorl), George (Jane); daughters, Rosemary Rogers, Ann Forest (Paul), Valerie Bissonnette; brother, Dan Joe Currie, P.E.I.; sister, Sadie MacLeod, New Hampshire, U.S.A.; grandchildren, Gregory Rogers, Andre and Celine Forest, Sherri, Patrick, Patricia, Kenny and Stephen Lane, Corrine, Matthew and Daniel Bissonnette; 13 great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by brother, Michael Currie.
Arrangements are under the care of J. Albert Walker Funeral Home (2005) Ltd., 477-5601, 149 Herring Cove Rd., where a funeral service will be held Saturday, Jan. 5, at 1 p.m. Interment to take place at a later date.
