Passed peacefully away on January 2, 2013 surrounded by his loving family. Predeceased by his wife Mary on April 22, 2003. Leaving to mourn his death and celebrate his life: Beverly (Lee Murphy), Rev’d Keith Sheppard (Joanne), Gail (Bill Peddle), Karen (Gerry Power), Karl Sheppard (Melissa); his grandchildren: Paul (Jackie) Murphy, Beverly (Barry Whitteker), Amy Sheppard, Lisa (Chris Peddle), Julie Sheppard, Bill Peddle (Shera), Marianne Peddle (Jason), Keegan Power (Amanda) and Kendra Power (Dave); his great-grandchildren: Paul (his mother Shelly), Cidell, Bailey, Tracy, Oliver, Felix, Marie and Austin. Also a large circle of relatives and friends. Flowers gratefully accepted or donations may be made to the St. Cyprian’s Building Fund. The family wishes to thank the staff of The Walter Templeman Hospital for their excellent care during his stay with them. Resting at Pendergast’s Funeral Home, Bell Island.
