CORMIER, THERESE - Therese Cormier of Manoir Notre Dame (formerly of La Hêtrière) passed away at the Dr. Georges L. Dumont university hospital center on Wednesday, January 2, 2013 at the age of 87. Born on June 8, 1925 in Niagara Falls, USA, she was the daughter of the late Henri Cormier and the late Emilienne Colette. She was a member of the Golden Age Club of Dieppe. She is survived by one daughter, Marie (Reg) LeBlanc of Old Shediac Rd; one adopted daughter, Maria (Earl)
Leaman of Shediac Bridge; one adopted son, Joseph Cormier of Moncton; three sisters, Catherine (late Antoine) Degrace of Acadieville, Marguerite (Gilbert) Blanchard of St-Louis de Kent and Marie (Don) Clarke of Saint John; two brothers, Joseph (Karen) Cormier of California and Camille (Emma) Cormier of PEI; eight grandchildren, four great grandchildren, one great great granddaughter Alli Ray and by several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband Leo (1996), one daughter Pauline and by ten brothers and sisters.
Visitation will be held at Dupuis Funeral Home on Friday January 4 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm. There will be no visitation before the funeral mass that will be held at Notre Dame de l'Annonciation Church, Pré-D'en-Haut on Saturday, January 5 at 11:00 am. Interment will be held at Saint Thomas de Memramcook cemetery. Arrangements are in the care of Dupuis Funeral Home, Memramcook. www.dupuisfuneralhome.ca
