At Prince County Hospital, Summerside, on Thursday, Jan. 3, 2013, of Muriel Eleanor MacDougall of Summerset Manor, formerly of Tyne Valley aged 94, wife of the late Waldo MacDougall. Born in Tyne Valley on Aug. 27, 1918, daughter of the late Charles and Emily (Maynard) Newcombe. Dear mother to Charles (Judy), Tyne Valley. Loving grandmother to Michael, Ellerslie; Gina (Marven) Williams, McNeills Mills; Shane (Denise), Cornwall and to her great grandchildren Danielle, Luke, Ben, Mason, Garett and Parker. Sister to Delores (Donald) MacDonald, Charlottetown. Sister in law to Kathleen Newcombe, Tyne Valley; Ella MacDougall, Tyne Valley; Blanche (Wendell) Maynard, Birch Hill; Isabel MacKinnon, Nfld. Muriel was predeceased by her parents, husband Waldo (March 31, 1999), infant daughter Marilyn (nin months) and brother Horace. Resting at the Ferguson Tyne Valley Funeral Chapel with visiting hours Monday 3 to 7 p.m. Funeral on Tuesday at the Tyne Valley Presbyterian Church at 11 a.m. Interment in the Church Cemetery. In memory of Muriel, memorials to the Tyne Valley Presbyterian Church would be appreciated.
