GAUVIN, VALMOND - 1946 - 2013 - Valmond Gauvin, 66, of Moncton, NB, passed away on Sunday, January 6th, 2013 at the Dr. Georges-L.-Dumont University Hospital Center. Born in Moncton, NB, he was the son of Marguerite (née: Vautour) and the late Phélias Gauvin. Mr. Gauvin loved bowling, golfing, dancing and nascar. He will be remembered as an avid fan of the Boston Bruins. He is survived by his mother, Marguerite Gauvin of Dieppe; his daughter Nadia Gauvin of Moncton; his son Erik of Moncton; four sisters: Carm Powers and Claudette (Francis) Drisdelle both of Moncton, Phyllis (Frank) Melanson and Gisèle (Mitch) Michaud both of Dieppe; two brothers Claude (Pauline) of Dieppe, and Normand of Shediac; his girlfriend, Bernadette “Bernie” LeBlanc of Moncton; his long time friend, Ray LeBlanc of Moncton, as well as several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held from the Chartersville Funeral Home, 363 Amirault Street, Dieppe, NB (857-1901) on Thursday from 7 to 9 pm. Funeral service will be held from the Chartersville Funeral Home Chapel, Dieppe, NB, on Friday, January 11th, 2013 at 2 pm.
