Ethel Victoria Tarr, (1931 - 2013), of Johnson City Texas, passed away peacefully in her sleep, with her Daughter at her side, on January 7th, 2013. A long time resident of Kamloops and Pritchard, Ethel had moved to Texas recently to be near her Daughter, Joanne. Ethel was an avid and passionate gardener and the author of a hand written 30 year work of genealogy for her family. Ethel was a "farm girl" at heart, and loved to reminisce about her life growing up on her parents farm in Wadena, Saskatchewan. Ethel competed successfully in several community fairs and was well recognized for her flowers, canning and baking. Ethel was predeceased by her loving husband Lloyd Tarr in 2003, and by her brother Jack, and sisters Florence and Margret and a great-grandson Joey. She is survived by her Daughters; Janet (Trevor) Vreeland, Nina (Bob) Ferguson, Joanne (Marc) Allcorn, and her son Neil (Denise) Tarr, as well as 10 Grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren.
