Passed peacefully away after a brief illness, January 12, 2013, Edward G. Robinson, age 67 years. Predeceased by his adventurous son, John and parents, Frank and Gertrude (nee Codner) Robinson. Left with wonderful memories of music and laughter, his wife, Janet, daughter, Anne, feline friends Oscar and Fiona, and, with deep thanks, good friends, Mary and Ed Noonan, special cousins, Noreen and Harold Press, and caring neighbours Sheila and Ted Drover. Also leaving to mourn his brothers-in-law John and Peter Campbell and his sister-in-law, Margaret Ahlblad, and their families, all of Halifax, NS, as well as many cousins, other relatives, a large circle of engineering colleagues and friends, and his early morning Aquarena swimming group. At Ed's request, cremation has taken place. Visitation will take place at Carnell’s Funeral Home, 329 Freshwater Road, on Tuesday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral Mass will be held from Mary Queen of Peace, Torbay Road, on Wednesday, January 16, 2013 at 9:30 a.m. Interment to follow at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery.
