STEWART, Wallace Silas Borden, 71, East Green Harbour, passed away peacefully in Queens General Hospital, Liverpool, on Monday, January 14, 2013. Born in East Green Harbour on April 28, 1941, he was a son of the late Silas and Alice (Zwicker) Stuart. Wallace was a fisherman and in later years worked at the Regional Materials Recovery Facility. He enjoyed going to church, being active and he loved the outdoors. He is survived by his children, Arthur ‘Skip” (Tina), Oak Park; Michael (Lori), Barrington; Trevor, Doctor’s Cove; Borden, Lockeport and Rosella, Lockeport; grandchildren, Dylan, Brandon and Morgan; step-grandchildren, Chad and Hannah; brothers, Stanley (Lorna), West Green Harbour; Thomas, East Green Harbour; sisters, Sally Coe, Vancouver, Mary, Lockeport; Eva (Jean) Camille Rouselle Le Goulet, NB; Joyce Buchanan, East Green Harbour. He was predeceased by his wife Jennifer and sister, Betty. The funeral service was held on Thursday, January 17, in H.M. Huskilson’s Funeral Home, Lockeport with Pastor Tim Garren officiating. Interment was in Lockeport Cemetery. Memorial donations may be made to the Lockeport Fire Hall.
