Wayne MacDonald passed away at home on Sunday, Jan.13, 2013, after a brief battle with cancer.
Born in Baddeck on June 9, 1950, he was the son of the late Daniel John ‘D.J.’ and Phyllis (MacKenzie) MacDonald.
He is survided by his son, Josh (Voula), Surrey, B.C.; daughter, Tanya (Darren) of Irma, Alta. and grandchildren, Dakota, Haley, Jake and Brayden; as well as brother, Graham of Bellingham, Wash.
In addition to his parents Wayne was predeceased by son, Dwayne.
In keeping with Wayne's wishes there will be no visitation. Cremation has taken place under the direction of Fillmore & Whitman Funeral Home. Interment will take place at a future date.
