It is with great sadness that our family announces the accidental passing of Harry Martin on January 16, 2013. Left behind with loving memories are his daughter Amanda and her fiancé Jimmy Puddicombe. Also left behind is his soul mate Holly Spry. Predeceased by his parents Harry and Shirley Martin and brother Joe. He leaves behind five sisters: Sandra Martin, Anne Russell (Dion), Cookie Meaney (Basil), Donna Duffett (Paul) and Jeannie Martin Finch (Chris). Also leaves many nieces and nephews: Jennifer, Scott and Zoey Letto; Crista, Jeff and Lilly Ivany; Kim, Sean, Meagan and Emma Tucker; Kelly, Curtis, Brooklyn, Jaxon and Sophie Smith; Holly Duffett (Jeremy) and Erika; Chris Duffett; Tiffany, Claude and Chloè Caron; Bill Hand (Angel), Kaius, Simon and Sebastian; Ean and Emily Finch. He will be dearly missed by his second family – Lori, Paul, Hailey and Jacob; Crissy, Daryl, Austin and Clem. As well as his three beloved furry companions, Jagger, Missy and Tabby. He had also touched the lives and will be incredibly missed by his co-workers with the City of St. John’s and many life-long friends, a number of whom he spent much time with at his cabin on the Witless Bay Line. He is waking at Caul’s Funeral Home on LeMarchant Road in St. John’s. Visitation is Friday, January 18, 2013 from 7 p.m. – 9 p.m. and Saturday, January 19, 2013 from 10 a.m. – 9 p.m. Funeral Mass will be on Monday, January 21, 2013 at 9:30 a.m.,
St. Patrick’s Church on Patrick Street. Interment to follow at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. Flowers graciously accepted or donations to any animal charities.
