Passed away peacefully with family by his side at Hospice Simcoe in Barrie, Ontario on Thursday January 17th 2013 in his 69th year. Leonard Russell, formerly of Corner Brook, Newfoundland, was the beloved husband of Nora. Dear father of David (Lee-Ann) of Barrie, Dermot (Heather) of Everett, Brian (Kim) of Barrie, Todd (Kathy) of Barrie and Kim Saxton (Kevin) of Barrie. Loving poppy of 18 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren. Dear brother of Shirley Leggo (Bob) of Newfoundland, Max (Madge) of Newfoundland, Gene (Georgie) of Port Dover, Samuel (Helen) of Newfoundland and Elaine Bannister (Ed) of Newfoundland. Predeceased by his sister Edna Fitch.
