ARSENAULT, ZOEL - Zoel Arsenault of Residence Senateur Romeo LeBlanc, Memramcook passed away at Dr. Georges L. Dumont university hospital center on Friday, January 18, 2013 at the age of 91. Born on September 13, 1921 in Saint Gabriel, Kent County, he was the son of the late Fabien Arsenault and the late Anna Richard. He was the farm manager for College St-Joseph until it was sold and then he worked at the Institut of Memramcook until his retirement. He was a member of the Golden Age Club of Memramcook and was involved with the Holstein Association of Canada. He is survived by his wife Lorette of 65 years of marriage; six sons, Paul (Joyce) of Shediac, Francis (Louise) of Moncton, Michel (Marie-Ange) of La Hêtrière, Maurice of Montreal, Jean-Louis of Toronto and Marcel of Moncton; three sisters, Lydie (late Albert) Maillet of St-Louis de Kent, Blanche (late Edgar) Richard of Richibucto and Annette (late Alphonse) Cormier of Rhode Island; seven grandchildren: Denis, Marc-André, Christien, Danielle, Ghislain, Chantal and Mathieu, four great grandchildren: Camylle, Felicia, Isabelle and Chanèle and by several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his four brothers Laurie, Thilmon, Père Paul and Bernard.
Visitation will be held at Dupuis Funeral Home on Tuesday, January 22 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm and on Wednesday, January 23 from 9:30 to 10:15 am. Funeral mass will be held at Notre Dame de l’Annonciation Church, Pré-D’en-Haut on Wednesday, January 23 at 11:00 am. Interment will be held at Saint Thomas de Memramcook cemetery, St-Joseph.
