It is with great sadness that the family of the late William Horwood (of L‘Anse au Clair born October 11, 1942) announce his passing on Monday, January 7, 2013 at the Health Sciences Centre, St. John's, age 70 years. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories, his wife Margaret; daughter Mona (Roderick) of Happy Valley; sons Sheldon (Catriona) of Happy Valley; and John (Tayna) of Grand Falls; grandchildren Sondra (Carlos), Scott, Matthew, Michael, Mackenzie, Jack, Robyn, and Maggie; great-grandson Cohen; brothers Albert (Iris) of Lower Sackville, Nova Scotia, and Ernie (Barbara) of Campbell River, British Columbia; nieces, nephews, and a large circle of family and friends. His memorial service took place at St. Andrew’s Church in L’Anse au Clair on Saturday, January 12. The interment of ashes will take place in L’Anse au Clair, summer 2013.
