John 'Lawrence' Thomas

John ‘Lawrence’ Thomas, 74, Argyle Street, Sydney, formerly of Gabarus, passed away Tuesday, Jan. 22, 2013, at home.
Born in Deep Cove, Gabarus, he was the son of the late John and Margaret (MacIntyre) Thomas.
Lawrence was a member of St. Margaret’s Church, Grand Mira and retired from the Two Rivers Wildlife Park.
Surviving are his brother, John, Gabarus; sister-in-law, Catherine Thomas; nieces, nephews and cousins.
Lawrence was predeceased by brothers, Danny, Robbie and Peter.
Visitation will take place at Sydney Memorial Chapel on Tuesday 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. A memorial service will be held at St. Margaret’s Church on Wednesday 2 p.m., with Rev. Albert Maroun officiating. Interment in St. Margaret’s Cemetery.
Memorials may be made to the SPCA or Two Rivers Wildlife Park.
