It is with heartfelt sadness that we announce that Anne Louise Wyslowski died peacefully with her daughter and grandson by her side, after a courageous battle of cancer, on Friday, Jan. 25, 2013, at the Cape Breton Regional Hospital, Sydney.
Born in Sydney, she was the daughter of the late James and Annie (MacArthur) MacPhee.
She was a member of St. Theresa Church.
She was a wonderful mother, grandmother and sister, who will be greatly missed.
Anne Louise is survived by her children, Margaret Roach (Scott MacLean), Glace Bay, John Wyslowski, Gatineau, Que., her pride and joy, grandson, Jesse. She is also survived by her sisters, Rita Potter, Sydney, Kathleen (Elmer) Simpson, Brockville, Ont.; brothers, John (Ollie) MacPhee, Sydney, Tommy MacPhee, Halifax, Donnie (Annie) MacPhee, Jim (Margaret) MacPhee, both of Sydney; as well as many nieces and nephews.
Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, John Wyslowski, her sisters, Mary O’Connell, Margaret Heron and Jean Butler.
Cremation has taken place. Visitation will be held Sunday, Jan. 27, 2013, from 2-4 p.m. at the S.W. Chant & Son Funeral Home, 564 Alexandra St., Sydney. Memorial mass will be held 10 a.m., Monday Jan. 28, 2013, at St. Theresa Church with Fr. James Oliver officiating. Interment to follow in Resurrection Cemetery.
