Carol Ann Lewis
Lieu de naissance : North Sydney
Date de décès : 25 janvier 2013
It is with sadness that we announce the passing of our dear mother, sister and friend, Carol Lewis, on Friday, Jan. 25, 2013, at the Inverness Consolidated Hospital.
Born in North Sydney, she was the daughter of the late Angus and Kay (Yorke) Green.
Carol worked many jobs over the years. Most recently, as a fish plant worker as well as managing the Fair Isle Motel in Whycocomagh, with her husband Brian, until his passing nine years ago. But the job she loved the most was as a wife and mother.
She enjoyed keeping in touch with family and friends through social networking, and used the internet to help many people by sharing experiences and advice, on a website dedicated to those suffering with Lymphedema.
Carol is survived by her two sons, Mark (Andra), and Martin, both at home; her “adopted son”, Nicholas Carroll, Margaree Forks; by her brother, John (Ina) Green, Leitches Creek; by her sisters, Frances (Wayne) Seastrom, Kansas, Nancy (Dave) Lazier, Banff, Alta.; as well as several nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her husband, Brian and her sister, Yvonne (George) Power.
There will be no visitation by request. A funeral mass will be held 10 a.m. Tuesday, at St. Joseph Church, North Sydney, with Rev. Patrick O’Neill officiating. Burial will take place at a later date, in Holy Cross Cemetery North Sydney.
