It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Albert Johnston (Albe), 68, on Jan. 26, 2013, at Orillia Ont., where he resided for the last number of years.
Born in North Sydney on Jan. 1, 1945, Albe was the first of 10 children born to the late Albert, and Lillian Johnston.
In addition to his father, Albe was predeceased by sisters, Linda Bonnar, Selby Gillies, Phyllis MacDonald and brother, Alex.
Surviving is his wife, Patsy (Clarke); sons, Albert (Sandy) and Kenny (Nancy); daughter, Michelle Murray (Robert); eight grandchildren; five great-grandchildren, and mother-in-law, Annette (Arthur), all residing in Orillia, Ont. Albe also leaves behind his mother, Lillian, sister, Mary White; brothers, Melvin, Gary, Jack, of North Sydney and Kevin of North West Arm, N.S.
Internment to take place in Orillia, Ont. at a later date.
