KATIE ANDERSON ( KATHARINA HARDER)
October 17, 1921- January 26, 2013

Beloved mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, Katie passed away peacefully at age 91 on January 26th, 2013 at Moose Jaw, Saskatchewan with her family by her side. She was predeceased in 1966 by her husband William Rufus Anderson, parents Abrahm and Elizabeth (Braun) Harder and thirteen brothers and sisters. Left to cherish her memory are her children Gail - Myra; Dale (Maureen) - Tammy, Colleen, Vincent, Ceilidh, Talia, Leith, Ashante, Heavenlee; Betty (Lester Turnbull) – Dalles, Brett; Donna (Terry Chubb)- Jeffrey and Olivia; and Garry - Kerri; many great-grandchildren; sister Ann Enns and sisters-in-law Tina Harder and Violet Anderson. Born on a farm north of McMahon, she married in 1945 and moved to Caron. Her devotions were dairy farming, yard, garden, and flowerbeds. Katie helped with roundup and checking cattle up to two years ago and she was still a herd boss. Flowers are gratefully declined. Donations may be made to the ICU Unit at the Moose Jaw Union Hospital. The Funeral Service will be held at The Moose Jaw Funeral Home on Friday, Febuary 1st, 2013 at 1:30pm.
