ANDERSON, OLIVE ELIZABETH (BETTY) - It is with deep sadness that the family of Olive Elizabeth (Betty) Anderson announces her passing at 8:46 AM on Monday, January 28th, 2013 at the QE11 Hospital, Halifax, NS. Born in Saint John, NB on October 24th, 1935, she was a daughter of the late David Alexander and Olive Mae (Hamilton) McKellar and was predeceased by a sister Grace Gauthier, Knowlton, QC and brother George McKellar, Minto, NB. Betty is survived by her husband Clayton Anderson, Halifax, NS; sisters: Florence Stewart, Saint John, NB; Kathleen (Jennie) Metherell, Jackson Falls, NB; Joan (Norbert) Savoie, Saint John, NB; Ruth Hudson, Saint John, NB; Jean Langille, Grand Falls, NB; Joyce Gibson, Saint John, NB; Mary (Alban) St. Coeur, Saint John, NB; brothers: David (Donna) McKellar, Minto, NB; John (Yvonne) McKellar, Minto, NB; William (Margaret) McKellar, Minto, NB. Betty had many nieces, nephews, as well as grand nieces and nephews, one Uncle, Russell Higgins, Saint John, NB, and many cousins and friends. Betty will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.
The family will receive visitors at Hogg Funeral Services (10 King Street, Minto, NB) on Wednesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 and from where funeral services will be held 1:00 PM, Thursday, January 31st, 2013 in the Minto Community Chapel. Interment will take place in Wallbridge Cemetery at a later date.
