It is with great sadness that the family of the late Mary House announce her passing on Wednesday, January 30, 2013 at Rufus Guinchard Health Centre in Port Saunders at the age of 93 years. Leaving to mourn : son: Felix (Alma), Wabush; two step-grandchildren: Della (Keith)) Wabush and Draper (Krista), St. John’s; three step great grandchildren: Randy, Nathan and Kathrine; brother: Henry (Linda), Ontario; brothers-in-law: Bradley (Margaret), Daniels Harbour, Walter Pittman, Corner Brook; sisters-in-law: Aurella Hull, Elsie Payne and Neta Payne Samson; very special niece and nephew: Greta and Georgie; as well as a large circle of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Predeceased by her husband, Clayton House; father and mother: Jesse and Edith Payne; father and mother-in-law: Augustus and Caroline House; sisters: Gertrude (Leslie), Beatrice (Hiram) and Emma; brothers: Gordon (Fannie), Samuel, Hayward, Thomas (Julie) and Gorman; sisters-in-law: Doris (Clayton Payne), Winnie (Howard), Flora (Stanley); brother-in-law: Jack Hull. Visitation will take place from Holy Cross Anglican Church in Daniels Harbour beginning on Thursday evening from where the funeral service will be held on Saturday, February 2nd at 2:00 p.m. Reverend Jean Brenton-Hickman officiating. Interment to follow at the church cemetery. As expressions of sympathy, flowers or donations may be made to the charity of one’s choice.
