We’ve kept our promise,
of what we would do,
To continue to live,
our life without you.

We get up each morning,
we get through the day,
Struggling past tears,
every step of the way.

We go on with life,
with a forced happy face,
Our heart aches badly,
for what we can’t replace.

We don't know what to do,
to deaden this pain,
It’s so hard here without you,
where we must remain.

But we will keep our promise,
and we must believe,
That you'll be there waiting,
when it’s our time to leave.
