Passed peacefully away at St. Clare’s Hospital on February 5th, 2013 after a short illness, Archie Thornhill, age 83 years. Leaving to mourn his loving wife of 67 years Winnie; special son Scottie residing at Glenbrook Lodge; son Sheldon; daughter Dorothea (Mick Newchurch); three grandchildren: Kimberley Loder (Keith), Christina Baker (Brian), Todd Thornhill (Albert); three great-grandchildren: Alexandra Baker, Jacob Loder and Jordan Loder; one great-great-grandson Liam Baker; as well as many nieces, nephews, other relatives and a large circle of friends. Cremation has taken place. Relatives and friends may visit the family at Carnell’s Funeral Home, 329 Freshwater Road on Thursday, February 7th from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral service will be held at the Carnell Memorial Chapel on Friday, February 8th, 2013 at 2:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations in his memory may be made to the S.A.
