SPITLER, Stephen “Rance” van Rensselaer III, 54, of Shelburne passed away on Friday, February 1, 2013. Born on July 4, 1958 he was a son of Patricia Harding and the late Stephen van Rensselaer Spitler Jr. He is survived by his mother, Patricia; son, Logan, Dartmouth; daughter, Maureen, Shelburne; granddaughter, Jamie Lynn Spitler; brothers, Donald and Trevor Harding and sister, Tirene Mitzel. Cremation has taken place under the direction of H.M. Huskilson’s Funeral Home Shelburne. A farewell memorial for Rance will be held on February 17 from 2:00-4:00 p.m for family and friends at the Shelburne Lions Club. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to the Lions Club.
