It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Margaret Leona Janes (nee Margie Boutilier) at St. Catharines Hospital in Niagara Falls on Sunday, Feb. 3, 2013, at the age of 69.
Born in Reserve Mines, she was the adopted child and granddaughter of William Raymond and Margaret Boutilier.
Leaving to mourn with loving memories are her son, Al LeMaitre (Carrie); daughters, Debbie LeMaitre Berube, Gail LeMaitre and Ann LeMaitre; wonderful grandchildren and all their families. Also by brother, William Boutilier, Ontario; sisters, Dolores Doucette, Reserve Mines, and Patricia Campbell, Prime Brook.
Predeceased by husband, Leslie Janes.
She put in many happy hours as a volunteer worker at The Coronation Centre and the legion.
There will be a “Celebration of Life” at the Coronation Centre, 5925 Summer St., Niagara Falls, Ont., on Sunday from 1-4 p.m. Cremation has taken place and a service will be held at a later date.
