WIEBE, Agnes, age 86, of Herbert, SK, arrived in her heavenly home on Friday, February 1, 2013, to join her parents, Mary and Cornelius Wiebe; her brother, Irvin; and her sister, Margaret. Agnes was born on August 3, 1926 in Gouldtown, SK. She leaves to cherish her memory her children, Clifford (Naomi) Wiebe, Arlene (Gord) Graham, Larry Wiebe and Donna Wiebe; her grandchildren, Carla, Jason, Matt, Amos, Cory, Christopher, Lucas, Chaise and Taylor; her great grandchildren, Jordyn, Jessi, Keisha and Jasmine; her brothers and sisters, Cornelius, Mary, Betty, Edwin, Leona, Edna, Erin, Audrey, Elmer and Leonard. What everybody admired about mom was her incredible strength, independence, her great sense of humor…and how can anybody ever forget her perma-smile! Mom truly faced every obstacle, challenge and hardship with her utmost strength, courage and faith. Despite the odds against her, she accomplished things in her life, as a woman, that were unheard of, but because of her unbelievable strength, courage, determination and faith, she beat those odds. She lived her life working so hard, not only for her children, but also for anybody she felt that needed her strong helping hands. Because of Mom’s pride, she chose to do most everything on her own, rarely asking for assistance. That’s just how it was, right up to the time of her passing. Thank you for joining us in celebrating this amazing woman’s life. The Funeral Service was held on Thursday, February 7, 2013 at 1:30 pm from the Living Faith Fellowship Church, Herbert, SK. The pianist for the service was Tammy Mason with the congregation singing, “In the Sweet By and By” and “Amazing Grace”. The tribute was shared by Donna Wiebe. The chosen musical selection was by Reba McIntyre, “If I Only Had Known”. The ushers in the church were Don Gerlach and Melvin Penner. The Interment Service was held at the Gouldtown Cemetery, Gouldtown, SK with the following grandchildren serving as pallbearers, Jason Wiebe, Matt Wiebe, Amos Wiebe, Lucas Murphy, Chaise Cardinal, Taylor Cardinal, Cory Johnson and Christopher Johnson. In memory of Agnes Wiebe, donations made to the Special Olympics Society, 353 Broad St., Regina, SK, S4R 1X2 would be appreciated by the family.
