DEVEAU, ROBERT J. - (1944 - 2013) - At the Moncton Hospital, on Friday, February 15th, 2013, at the age of 68, passed away Robert J. Deveau. Born in Acadieville on September 1st 1944, he was the son of François Deveau and the late Agnes Doiron. As well as his father, he will be sadly missed by his two daughters: Lisa Marie (Jason Maennling) and Jocelyne (Alyre Richard), the mother of his daughters, Norma Deveau; his three grandchildren: Renelle Richard, Simon and Sylvie Maennling; his sisters: Sylvie (Jean-Louis Doiron), Cecile (Armand Gagnon), Adrienne (Jacques Thibault), Marielle (Norman Kelly) and Carmelle (Gaston Richard); his brothers: Oneil (Bertha), Paul-Emile (Marielle Lavoie), Fernand (Kristine) and Arnel (Georgette); his two aunts: Sylvia (late Napoleon Doiron) and Stella (late Celime Deveau) and many nephews, nieces and cousins. He was predeceased by his mother, Agnes (1993), one sister, Denise (1992), as well as a little brother Normand (1956).
At Robert’s wishes, there will be no visitation at the funeral home.
The family will receive relatives and friends at the Saint-François-de-Sales RC Church in Rogersville from 2:30pm, on Tuesday, February 19th, from where the funeral service will be held at 3:30pm. The burial will take place at the Acadieville cemetery in the spring. A donation for the Rogersville Food Bank or the Acadieville cemetery would be appreciated.
