It is with great sadness we announce the peaceful passing of Harold Petten on Thursday, February 21, 2013 of Kelligrews, age 82 yrs. Predeceased by his parents James John and Mildred Petten, grandson Wade Thorne, brothers Calvin and Edward, sister Freda. Left with fond and loving memories his wife Evelyn of 60 years; daughters: Myrna (Bill), Shelley (Aiden); son George (Debbie); grandchildren: Wayne (Kerri), Wanda (Pat), Gordie (Amanda), Adam (Melissa), Stephanie, Courtney, Joshua, Megan, Pat and Dana; great-grandchildren: Breeanna, Savanna, Arron, McKenzie; sister Julia; sister and brother-in-law: Amy and Eric Dodge; sister-in-law Myrtle Petten and his very special pet Old Buddy Bussey. Also a large circle of nieces, nephews and friends. Visitation in the James J. Hickey Memorial Funeral Home, Kelligrews on Friday from 7 – 9 pm, Saturday from 10 – 12, 2 – 4 and 7 – 9 pm, Sunday from 10 – 12 noon. Funeral service to take place on Sunday, February 24, 2013 at 2 p.m .in All Saints Anglican Church, Foxtrap. Interment in the Anglican Cemetery, Dunn’s Hill Road, Foxtrap.
