Sylvia Milner passed away on Monday, Feb. 18, 2013.
Born in Sydney, N.S., April 16, 1934, she was the daughter of the late Alexander and Katherine (Campbell) Stephens.
A longtime resident, she lived in Sydney most of her life. Having been a bookkeeper by profession, she became a full-time wife and homemaker upon her marriage. She was a member of the Royal Canadian Legion Auxiliary (Br. 126) and life-long parishioner of Christ Church (Church of Christ the King, Parish of the Resurrection).
A loving and caring wife and mother, she is survived by her son, Dean Milner.
She was predeceased by her husband, William, a daughter, Kathy, and a brother, Charles.
There will be no visitation and a private funeral has taken place from the Church of Christ the King with Rev. Glenn Kent and Rev. Laura McCue officiating. Interment in Hardwood Hill Cemetery.
