Annie Florence James
At the Queen Elizabeth Hospital, with heavy hearts, the family announces the passing of Annie Florence James (nee Matheson) of Midgell, wife of Ward James, occurred on Thursday, February 21, 2013, with her family by her side.
Born in Forest Hill on November 3, 1936, she was a daughter of the late Norman and Catherine (Taylor) Matheson.
Annie is survived by her loving daughter, Debbie MacKinnon (Hallie); stepchildren, Herman James (Lisa), Tracey Cormier (Clarence), Lana Tully (Dale) and Jeremy James; brothers, Miles Matheson (Bertha), Gordon Matheson (Elsie) and Claude Matheson (Mona); cherished granddaughter, Kimmie; step-grandchildren, Ian, Travis, Amber and Madison; brothers and sisters-in-law, Reah Cobb, Mary Sanderson, Freda Stewart (Heber), Harlin James, Margaret James, Vera Murphy (Fred), Mabel Brothers (Reg, deceased), Bruce James (Marilyn), Lottie Driscoll (Ron), Brenda Brindell (Murray) and Albert James (Stephanie). Besides her parents, Annie was predeceased by her first husband, Heath Cobb.
By Annie’s request, there will be no visiting hours or funeral service at the funeral home, a graveside service will take place at a later date in the Midgell Cemetery.
Donations to the Queen Elizabeth Hospital would be appreciated by the family.
