Passed peacefully away at The Palliative Care Unit of the Dr. L.A. Miller Centre on Monday, February 25, 2013, in the presence of her loving family, Shirley Frances Bartlett (nee Penney). Predeceased by her husband Bruce, 1995. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories her daughters: Heather Richards and Dawne Putt (Ron); five grandchildren: Nikki Richards (James Somers) and John Paul Richards (Jennifer) and their father Paul, Vanessa Pinksen (Travis), Danielle Putt and Zachery Putt; four great-grandchildren: Benjamin and Thomas Richards, Logan and Emily Pinksen; sister Ruth Noseworthy, New Hampshire, USA; lifelong friend Elaine Barnes; also a number of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Resting at Barrett’s Funeral Home, 328 Hamilton Avenue on Tuesday from
7-9 p.m. and then on Wednesday from 2 - 4 p.m. and 7 - 9 p.m. Funeral service to be held from Wesley United Church on Thursday, February 28, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. Interment to follow at Mount Pleasant Cemetery.
