Elizabeth Kathleen MacKeigan, 98, formerly of Hornes Road, passed away Friday, March 1, 2013, at the Glace Bay Hospital.
Born in Donkin, she was the daughter of the late Archie and Katherine (MacDonald) Morrison.
Elizabeth was a school teacher in the Mira area for most of her career and was teaching in Catalone when she retired.
Elizabeth is survived by a sister, Margaret Morrison and a sister-in-law, Irma Morrison-Mollon, Coxheath; and many nieces and nephews and grandnieces and grandnephews.
She was predeceased by her husband, Donald MacKeigan, sisters, Christine MacAskill, Flora Morrison, a brother, John and a brother in infancy.
Funeral service will be held Wednesday, March 6, 2013, at Sydney Memorial Chapel at 2 p.m. with Rev. Donald MacDonald officiating. Interment in Riverside Cemetery.
