MAILLET, GILLES - Gilles Maillet of Edmonton, Alberta formerly of Memramcook, NB passed away on Thursday, February 21, 2013, of a heart attack in Fort McMurray, at the age of 44. Gilles was a Trade Welder in Fort McMurray. He was the son of Guy Maillet and Lina Leblanc. He is survived by his wife Chantal Leblanc, one daughter Judith Maillet of Saint John, NB, one son Leon Maillet of Edmonton, Alberta, two sisters Suzanne (Alexandre) Leblanc of College Bridge, Lucille (Jean-Guy) Arsenault of Aboujagane, one brother Normand (Suzanne) Maillet of Quebec and by several nieces and nephews, uncles and aunts.
Visitation will be held at Dupuis Funeral Home on Thursday, March 7 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm. There will be no visitation before the funeral mass that will be held at Notre Dame de Lourdes Church, Memramcook East on Friday March 8 at 11:00 am.
