It is with great sadness that the family of Gordon Henry Brinston announces his passing at Western Memorial Regional Hospital on March 4, 2013 surrounded by his loving family at the age of 66 years. He will be sadly missed by his loving wife of 44 years, Margaret (Brake) who was the love of his life and his best friend, his three children: son Gordie Brinston (Angie), daughter Sheri Brinston, daughter Shelley Hynes (Aaron), his very special grandchildren who meant the world to him: Jess (Neal), Shelby and Philip, Dylan and Emily, great grandson Jackon James, special brother Isaac Brinston (Jubilee), Dereck, and sisters: Jeanette, Joy, and their families, many nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends. Also a large circle of special sisters and brothers-in-law. He is predeceased by his parents George and Alvina Brinston, and brother Junior Brinston, mother and father-in law Effie and John Brake, and brothers-in-law Frank and Joseph Brake. Visitation will take place at Country Haven Funeral Home 167 Country Road Wednesday, March 6, 2013 from the hours of 2-4 and 7-9 P.M. Funeral Service will take place at Country Haven Funeral Home Chapel on Thursday March 7, 2013 at 2 P.M. with Marilyn Avery officiating. Interment to follow at Mount Patricia Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy flowers are graciously accepted or donations may be made to one’s choice.
