With great sorrow, the family of Berend (Ben) Hendrik van Lunteren, the self proclaimed "Okanagan Birdman", announce his death, on the 20th of February, 2013, in his 71st year.

Dearly loved father of Victoria van Lunteren-Macintosh (Todd Hogan), Phillip van Lunteren all of Ontario, Shane van Lunteren (Andrea Keller), Miles & Theo of Los Angeles, California. Always remembered by his granddaughters Catjiana and Marijke Macintosh, his sister Atty Milton (Floyd) of Ontario and the love of his life and wife, Asjeh Shu- van Lunteren of Holland.

At Father's request there will be no service.

A cremation and private interment will take place at Hillside Cemetery, Kamloops where he and his little pal, Howard, together will rest in peace in the loving arms of his late parents, Hendrik and Greetje, whom he missed so dearly.

In lieu of flowers, donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or the SPCA would be appreciated.
