ANASTASIA “ANNE” PALUCK
It is with heartfelt sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved mother, sister, grandmother, great-grandmother Anastasia “Anne” Paluck (Nee: Boser) of Moose Jaw on March 11, 2013 at the age of 90 at the Moose Jaw Union Hospital. Anne was the 10th of 18 children. Anne was born November 17th, 1922 at Reward, Sask. During her life Anne worked at Calgary Foothills Hospital, Moose Jaw STI (SIAST) and Valley View Centre as a custodian. She also was a caregiver for local children and cleaned various homes. Her first love was looking after her family, including attending all her grandchildren’s extra-curricular activities. Anne loved to cook, crochet, cards, dance, and loved to watch her Warriors play hockey even billeting some of the players. She was loved by all who knew her. Anne was predeceased by her parents, Peter and Adeline Boser; husband Michael in 2005; daughter Constance in 1955; five brothers and six sisters. She will be sadly missed by her children, Donna (Herb) Harrison of Regina, Patricia (Bruce) McCulloch of Moose Jaw, Brenda (Kirby) Pickford of Chilliwack, BC, Randall (Patricia) Paluck of Saskatoon and Marilyn (Steve Chan) Paterson of Moose Jaw; fifteen grandchildren: Lori-Anne (Murray) Proznick of Wishart, Nicole (Bill) Taylor of Regina, Danette (Mike Bissenthal) Harrison of Regina, Tara (Trevor) Schlosser of Saskatoon, Darren (Shasta) McCulloch of Moose Jaw, Leanne (Chris Mugford) McCulloch of Moose Jaw, Scott (Bernadette) McCulloch of Moose Jaw, Corey (Rachel) Pickford of Ottawa, Tamara Pickford of Wilcox, Todd (Karen) Pickford of Chilliwack, Nicole Chan of Moose Jaw, Jennifer (Rod) Bauck of Moose Jaw, Mark Paterson of Moose Jaw, Taylor Paterson of Moose Jaw, Derek Chan of Moose Jaw; twenty great-grandchildren: Noelle, Shelby, Faith, Kayde, Dallyn, Tayce, Aleksei, Sage, Asia, Ciaran, Reese, Kayla, Olivia, Jordyn, Leah, Brooklyn, Sydney, Ava, Keaton, Beckett; six sisters as well as numerous other family. A time of visitation will be held at W.J. Jones & Son Funeral Home, 106 Athabasca St. E. on Friday, March 15, 2013 from 7 – 9 pm. A Celebration of Anne’s Life will be held at St. Joseph's Roman Catholic Church, 1064 3rd Ave, Moose Jaw on Saturday, March 16 at 1:30pm. Father Rick Krofchek will officiate. Anne will be laid to rest beside her husband Michael at Rosedale Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Anne’s name to a charity of one’s choice.
