It is with great sadness that the family of Shirley Whelan of St. John’s announce her passing on March 20th, 2013 at the age of 72. Shirley is predeceased by her father William Snow and mother Alice Snow. Leaving to mourn her loving husband of 50 years Arthur Whelan; children: Carol Ann (Bob Thomas), Art Whelan, Ellen (Paul Somerton), and Paddy Whelan (Genny Druken); grandchildren: Ann-Marie, Matthew, Stephanie, Melanie, Josh, and Chris; also her sister Joan Fleet of Paradise. At Shirley’s request, cremation and burial have taken place.
