GAUDET, ANTONIO - Antonio Gaudet of St-Joseph passed away at the Dr. Georges L. Dumont University Hospital Center on Saturday, April 6, 2013 at the age of 90. Born on February 10, 1923 in St-Joseph, he was the son of the late Philias Gaudet and the late Minnie Richard. He worked as a carpenter all his life. He is survived by his four daughters, Alice (Dave) Gould of St-Joseph, Julia (Donald) Cormier of Pre-D’en-Haut, Antoinette (Donald) Gallant and Catherine Gaudet both of St-Joseph; four sons, Euclide (Charlotte) of St-Joseph, Jean (Claude) of Taylor Village, Roger and Maurice (Charlotte) both of St-Joseph; one daughter-in-law, Réjeanne Gaudet of Moncton; 16 grandchildren: Annick, Joline, Sophie, Tony, Anne, Suzanne, Réjean, Nicole, Carole, Marcel, Martin, Josée, Patrick, Deny, Adam and Chris; nine great grandchildren: Raphaëlle, Dimitri, Mattéo, Neve, Eli, Zac, Anabel, Mali, Logan and two to be born this summer; one sister, Alice (late Alderic) Brun of Moncton; three sisters-in-law, Vitaline, Marie and Alida and by several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his wife Annette (1996), one son Vaughan (1997), and one sister Bernadette and by six brothers Albénie, Charles, Albert, Edouard, infant Antoine and infant Camille.
Visitation will be held at Dupuis Funeral Home, 15 rte La Vallée, Memramcook on Tuesday April 9 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm. There will be no visitation before the funeral mass that will be held at Notre Dame de Lourdes church, Memramcook East on Wednesday, April 10 at 11:00 am. Interment will be held in Saint Thomas de Memramcook cemetery, St-Joseph. A special thank you to the nurses and specially Walter and Susan of the surgical intensive care unit of the Dr. Georges L.
