Passed peacefully away in the presence of family at The Health Sciences Centre in St. John’s on April 17th, 2013, at the age of 79. Leaving to mourn daughters: Daphne (spouse Hughie), Josephine (spouse Carl), Linda (spouse Mario); granddaughters: Nicole (spouse Mark), Diana, Rachel; great-grandson Declan and very special sister Myrtle Banfield. Resting at Barrett’s Funeral Home, 328 Hamilton Ave. on Friday, April 19, 2013 from 2-4 p.m. and 7- 9 p.m. Funeral service will be held from Barrett’s Chapel on Saturday, April 20, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. with interment to take place at a later date.
