Mr. Brendan M. Kavanagh of Carbonear passed away at the Carbonear General Hospital on Tuesday, April 16, 2013. Mr. Kavanagh was 83 years old. He leaves to mourn his loving family: Sisters: Rose (Bren) Haire, Alice Haire, Kay (Jerry) Evans, Bride (Roy) Boone, Joan (Wes) Pretty and Bernie (Pat) Manning. Predeceased by: Parents: Annie and Maurice Kavanagh. Sister: Mary (Leo) Butt. Brothers: Felix and Bill Kavanagh. Brother-in-law: Jed Haire. The funeral mass took place at St. Patrick's R.C. Church and Cemetery, Carbonear on Thursday, April 18, 2013 at 10:30 a.m. The family received relatives and friends at Slade's Funeral Home, Powell Drive, Carbonear.
