REID, RICHARD - Following a courageous battle with cancer, Richard "Rick" Reid of Sisson Ridge passed away at Hotel Dieu St. Joseph Hospital on April 24, 2013. Born in Stanley on May 25, 1954, he was the son of the late Arnold and Eileen (Gibson) Reid. Rick leaves behind his wife Wendy Reid (Goodine); his daughter Debra Palmer (Mike) of Fredericton; sisters Janice Hashey (David) of Fredericton, Brenda Peterson (Ivan) of Waasis, Marilyn Wathen (Bill) of Fredericton, Norma MaGee (Dan) of Burton; his brother Jim Reid (Bobbie) of Fredericton; his father-in-law Norman Goodine of Sisson Ridge; and several nieces and nephews.
Respecting Rick's wishes, there will be no visitation. Funeral service will be held on Monday, April 29, 2013 at 2 pm from the Sisson Ridge Baptist Church. Rev. Dwayne Broad officiating. For those who wish, memorial donations to the Canadian Liver Foundation or to Prostate Cancer Research would be appreciated by the family. Arrangements have been entrusted to Brunswick Funeral Home, Perth-Andover and Plaster Rock.
