Passed peacefully away at Kenny’s Pond Retirement Residence on April 22, 2013, in her 93rd year. Predeceased by her husband Edward Joseph Rogers in 2001, her parents James and Jessie O’Grady, brothers James and Thomas, and sisters Ann Rowsell and Joan Gallivan, and special sister-in-law Sheila O’Grady. She is survived by her children: Jeanette Denief (Leslie), Judith Murphy (Toronto), Edwina Kenny (Gene), Edward (Brenda Mackey), James (Diane), Brian (Gillian) Halifax; grandchildren: Tiffany Clay (Scott) Toronto, Lesley Breau (Mathieu) Holland, Jason Denief, Aaron Murphy (Laura), London, England, Susan Duncan (Michael) Toronto, Mark Rogers (Leslie), Brian Rogers (Jessica), Sarah Mackey, Jillian Rogers, Krista Rogers, Claire Rogers (Fort MacMurray), Paddy Rogers (South Korea); great-grandchildren: Heather, Leah, Matthew, Corbin, Jasmine, Keaira, Sophie, Madelaine, Turner and EJ. Also survived by her sisters Mona Myler (Dick - Deceased) and Elizabeth O’Grady, sister-in-law Joan O’Grady, brother-in-law Joe Gallivan and a number of nephews and nieces, and special friends Tom and Blanche Stack. The family wishes to acknowledge and thank the staff at Kenny’s Pond Retirement Residence for their professional and loving care during her three and one half years there. At her request cremation and a private family service was held with inurnment at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery.
She will be lovingly remembered
