THELLAB, ALBERT - Albert Thellab passed away at the Dr. Georges-L. Dumont University Hospital Center on Saturday, April 27, 2013, at the age of 81. Born in Magdalen Islands, he was the son of Joseph Thellab and Rose Fougère. He was employed with Assumption Life until his retirement. He had a great passion for sailing. Albert is survived by his wife of 52 years, Denise LeBlanc; sons, Claude (Gisèle), Paul (Nathalie) and Denis (Dominiek); daughter, Lise (John Smith); sisters, Adèle McAdoo and Maud Thellab; brother-in-law, Father Fidèle LeBlanc; sister-in-law, Sister Edith LeBlanc, r.n.d.s.; and grandchildren, Cèline, Matthew, Bradley, Nicholas, Jonathan, Matthieu, Maxim and Jolie; and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by brothers, Michael and Georges; sister, Martha Delaney (Donald); brothers-in-law, Dr. Victor LeBlanc (Dell), Father Arcade LeBlanc, Roger (late Fernande) and Gèrald (Louise); and sisters-in-law, Sister Mary Victor, r.n.s.c. and Lucie (late Joseph Landry).
There will be no visitation; however a service will take place at Fair Haven Funeral Home, 1177 Salisbury Rd, on Friday, May 3 at 11 a.m., with a reception to follow in the Garden View Reception Room.
