It is with deep sadness and broken hearts that we announce the passing of Tracy Arsenault, 43, of North Sydney, on Wednesday, May 1, 2013.
Born in Alder Point on April 4, 1970, she was the daughter of William ‘Billy’ and Dorothy Arsenault.
Tracy had a great passion and a beautiful gift for drawing, painting and writing poems. She also loved the Toronto Maple Leafs.
She leaves behind to mourn her parents, Billy and Dorothy Arsenault; husband, Bernie J.R. Blinkhorn; her six amazing children, Billy Joe and Apryl Weatherbee of North Sydney, Slade, Nathan, Gabe and Jesse, all at home and two beautiful granddaughters, Amara Warhuus and Jessica Weatherbee. She will also be sadly missed by her four sisters who loved her more than words can say, Stephanie Thorel, Sydney Mines, Nicole (Terry) Arsenault, Leitches Creek, Leahann Arsenault, North Sydney, and Susan Arsenault, Sydney Mines; grandmother, Mary Arsenault, Alder Point; nine nieces and nephews, eight grandnieces and nephews, and many aunts, uncles and cherished friends.
There will be no visitation. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to J. M. Jobes Funeral Home, Sydney Mines. A celebration of Tracy's life will be held on Monday, May 6, 2013, at 2 p.m. in Carman United Church, Clyde Avenue, Sydney Mines, with Rev. Nick Phillips officiating.
