Annie Carson
CARSON, ANNIE L. - 1916-2013 - It is with sorrow that we announce the peaceful passing of our beloved mother, Annie L. Carson, 97, at the Moncton Hospital on Saturday, May 4, 2013 following a brief illness, surrounded by her loving family. Born in Main River, Annie was the eldest of nine children to her late parents, Thomas and Ezilla (Roberts) Beers, Main River, Kent County, NB. Annie leaves to mourn her children, Wayne, Boyd (Joanne), Gerald (Sandra), Marilyn (John), Merle (Donna) and Norman (Fran); and daughter-in-law, Trudy (late Ray); as well as numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren; sister, Beulah Flanagan; and brother, Ernest Beers. Mother was predeceased by an infant daughter, Norma-Elaine (1946), a twin sister to Norman; late husbands, Harold E. Carson (1977) and Stanley W. Beesley (1987); and son, Ray A. Carson (2009). "Remarkable" could be said of her faithfulness to her God, family, church, friends and her community. Annie had a lifetime of devotion to serving her Lord and Saviour in many areas of service in the former Reformed Baptist Church, now the Moncton Wesleyan Church where she was the eldest living member. She volunteered with service for many years to the Canadian Cancer Society, Kidney and Heart Foundation, and Home and School Association.
