It is with broken hearts that we the family announce the sudden passing of Marie Hall on Monday, May 6, 2013, at the QE II Health Sciences, Halifax.
Born in Sydney, she was the daughter of the late George and Catherine (MacNeil) Cameron.
She was a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend. She enjoyed crafts, knitting, baking and spending time with her family.
Marie is survived by his loving husband of 56 years, Thomas Murray; her children, Linda Wall (Vincent), Billy (Norine), Murray (Alison), Philip ‘Sam’ (Joan) and Kenny (Jo-Anne); 10 grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her sister, Carol LeBlanc, Cornwall., Ont.; brother, George MacIssac, Victoria, B.C.; as well as several nieces and nephews.
Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her sister, Brenda (Yvon) Labelle.
Visitation will be held Thursday, May 9, 2013, at the S.W. Chant & Son Funeral Home, 564 Alexandra St., Sydney, from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral service will take place 2 p.m., Friday, May 10, 2013, in the funeral home chapel.
