Passed peacefully away at St. Clare’s Mercy Hospital on Tuesday, May 7, 2013, aged 90 years. Predeceased by her parents Michael J. Kennedy and Mary Catherine (Finlay); her sister Theresa (Clem) Sutton; her brothers Thomas and Francis. Leaving to mourn and celebrate her life are the Presentation Sisters, especially her sister Josephine Kennedy, pbvm, her sisters-in-law Mary Kennedy and Bernadette Kennedy, many devoted nieces, nephews, grand-nieces and grand-nephews, a large circle of relatives, friends, students and former colleagues at Memorial University and in the Archival Community. Resting at Presentation Motherhouse, Cathedral Square, St. John’s. Visiting hours on Thursday, May 9 from 7:00 – 9:00 p.m.; Friday, May 10 from 10:00 – 12:00; 2:00 – 4:00 and 7:00 - 9:00 with a Vigil Service at 8:00 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at the Basilica of St. John the Baptist on Saturday, May 11 at 11:00 a.m. Interment will be at the Presentation Cemetery, Cathedral Square.
