Brenda was accepted into God’s loving arms on Wednesday May 8, 2013 at Western Memorial Regional Hospital in Corner Brook, NL surrounded by her loving family at the age of 66 years. She leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories her loving partner and best friend Clifford Beales, her children: Donna (Randy) of Brampton, ON, Tony (Linda) of Brandon, MB, Margie (Jason) of Mount Pearl, NL, and Chasity of Corner Brook, NL and her grandchildren who meant the world to her Jeremy (Sarah), Amber, Jordan, Jonathan, Jenna, Matthew and Riley. She will also be deeply missed by her siblings Jackie (Derek), Charlie (Judy), Raymond (Maryanne), Brian (Lorraine), Barbara (Wayne), Carolyn, Patrick (Valerie), Clifton, as well as the loving father of her children Donald Strickland (Shirley) of St. John’s, NL, and special friend of Brenda & family Marty Pitcher. Also remembering her beautiful smile and loving personality will be her nieces, nephews, extended family and close friends. She will live on in our hearts forever. At Brenda’s request cremation has taken place. Friends may visit Country Haven Funeral Home, 167 Country Road on Friday May 10, 2013 from 7-9 p.m. A memorial service will take place from Country Haven Funeral Home Chapel on Saturday May 11, 2013 at 10:30 a.m. with father Edmund Camacho officiating. Interment to take place at a later date. As expressions of sympathy in lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Bay of Islands S.P.C.A because of her love of animals.
