Peacefully at McGarrell Place, London, Ont., on Friday, March 29, 2013, of Willard Nelson Smith, of London, Ont., in his 98th year. Veteran of the Second World War. Beloved husband of the late Barbara (nee Jones) Smith who predeceased him in 2001. Born at West Point, P.E.I., on April 14, 1915, he was the son of the late Samuel and Bertha (nee MacDonald) Smith. Loving father to Glen Smith, Alan Smith (Debi), Brenda Totten (Paul) and Mike Smith. Dear grandfather of Chris, Sandra, Steven, Deanna, Michael, Grace and Eric. He will be sadly missed by his many great-grandchildren. He was predeceased by a brother Edison and by a sister Bertha Smith. Resting at the Rooney Funeral Home from where the funeral will be held on Monday, May 13, at 11 a.m. Rev. Ewen Moase officiating. Interment will take place in the Bethel United Church Cemetery West Cape. Visitation from 10 a.m. until time of funeral.
