Passed peacefully away at the Health Sciences Centre on May 9, 2013, James Prosser, aged 58 years of Kilbride. Predeceased by his parents George and Phyllis Prosser of Burnt Islands. Left to mourn his loving wife, Carol; daughter Caroline Downey (Marshall) of Ottawa; son Corey (Cara Maloney) of St. John’s; two precious grandchildren: Cameron and Marshall Downey; two brothers: Reginald Prosser (Melita) of Clarenville and Charles Prosser (Lydia) of Burnt Islands; sister Susie (Paul Lushman) of Francois; sisters-in-law: Patricia Hynes (Roy) of Goulds, Olive Slaney (Randy) of Mt. Pearl and June Crisby of Eastport as well as a large circle of other relatives and friends. Resting at Carnell’s Funeral Home, 329 Freshwater Road on Saturday and Sunday from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. Funeral service to take place from St. Paul’s Church, Goulds on Monday, May, 13, 2013 at 2:00 p.m. Interment to follow at the Anglican Cemetery, Kenmount Road.
