Age 91 years passed away peacefully on May 10th, 2013 at The Palliative Care Unit of The L.A. Miller Centre surrounded by her loving family. Predeceased by her parents: Joseph FitzGibbon and Pauline Kemp; her husband Patrick (Red Island Placentia Bay) and infant daughter Pauline, as well as four brothers and five sisters. Leaving to mourn are her children: Keith, Bill (Juanita), Mary and Paddy; grandchildren: Kelly (Stephen), Richard, Michael (Meghan), Kenneth, Paddy, Hannah, and Bridget; great-grandchildren: Sophie and Henry; also leaving to mourn a large circle of nephews and nieces, other relatives and friends, especially Judy Fagan and Christine Maddigan. Resting at Carnell’s Funeral Home, 329 Freshwater Road, on Sunday and Monday May 12th and 13th, 2013 from 2 -4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. Mass of Christian burial will take place at St. Pius X Roman Catholic Church, Smithville Crescent, on Tuesday, May 14th, 2013 at 9:30 a.m. Interment to follow at Belvedere Cemetery.
